2 weeks in Mexico already, how?
Solo travel has always been something I love, and it’s amazing how many cool people you meet along the way. I was In Puerto Vallarta and Sayulita, and let me tell you, the beaches here are next level. In Puerto Vallarta, I’ve was chilling at Colomitos Beach, and if you’re ever in Sayulita, don’t miss La Lancha. Both spots are super easy to get to by local bus, and trust me, the surf here is perfect.
Also, pro tip: If you’re looking for an affordable place to stay with awesome vibes, check out La Redonda hostel. They’re big on surf lessons and organize daily beach trips—definitely recommend if you’re into catching some waves!
I got to experience Dia de los Muertos while I’ve been here. If you don’t know, it’s a multi-day celebration where families gather to honor and remember loved ones who’ve passed. The artistry here blew me away—especially the papier-mâché. I thought I was decent at it, but these artists? They take it to a whole new level. Such a beautiful experience to witness.
